Pass the Popcorn
I should admit right up front that I’m a huge fan of Sarah Palin. 
I’m aroused by her carnivorousness, which is almost equal to my own. And I get really turned on when she talks about dead fish. (Don’t tell anybody, but I have this Palin pinup on the wall of my habitat. OOOHHH! Sha-ZAM!)
Okay, taking a moment to compose myself…
So, imagine my excitement when I obtained a pirated copy of the new movie, Sarah Palin: The Undefeated which premieres in Iowa this week. I have it queued up right now, and I’m watching it as soon as I leave here. I know it will be enthralling, and I also hope it helps me to work out the significance of the title. Does it mean quitting is the same as winning? You can’t lose if you don’t run? 2008 never actually happened?
Well, I guess I’ll find out. Right now I have a movie to watch, and I need to whip myself up a nice big bowl of popcorn shrimp.

Speaking of conflict of interest… this one must surely be a record-setter.
Remember David Prosser, the guy who finally won the SC seat in WI after that exciting, nail-biting election? Well, last week he got in an argument with liberal colleague, Justice Ann Walsh Bradley, over the conduct of the upcoming recall elections… and attempted to strangle her. Hands on throat, signs of injury, other SC justices as witnesses. She has filed charges and an investigation is underway, but the case may eventually need to be decided by… the state Supreme Court!
The two justices (strangler and stranglee) can recuse themselves, leaving the court divided down conservative lines 3–2… but the other justices all witnessed the incident. What happens if they ALL recuse themselves?
Oh, those Wacky Wepublicans… the wonderful entertainment they provide for us!

Seriously, I hope Pauly finds out just how Palin is “undefeated”… and comes back to tell us.
Because it IS confusing. She dropped out of four colleges. She was a runner-up for “Miss Alaska.” She quit her term as governor halfway through. She lost the 2008 election. Her poll numbers in Alaska dropped from 80 to 30. She has gone from national popularity in 2008 to the highest unfavorables of any of the current GOP field.
Looks like a really long string of defeats to me.

Not at all. The only one of those that could be considered a defeat (rather than, say, a “retreat”) was the 2008 election. And she didn’t lose it…McCain lost it. Everyone knows she would have won handily if she didn’t have the old geezer at the top of the ticket weighing her down.

The Freepers are practically having orgasms right now. Apparently Bristol told some talk show host just an hour or two ago that “the decision has been made within the family” regarding Palin’s potential presidential run… and will be announced soon.
If she’s NOT running, she’s pretty much on a par with the Westboro Baptists. She waits until somebody else is holding an event that’s deeply important to them but has nothing to do with her (Mitt in NH, Bachmann in IA)… and then she turns up in the same place, sets up her own self-serving little lemonade stand and diverts all the attention away from the serious event.
Disgusting behavior… no matter who does it.
