Meet the Press (NBC) — New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg talks about edu­ca­tion pol­icy and pol­i­tics in advance of NBC’s sec­ond annual Edu­ca­tion Nation Teacher Town Hall. And Israeli Prime Min­is­ter Ben­jamin Netanyahu, who’s in New York for the open­ing of the United Nations Gen­eral Assem­bly, shows up to talk about Palestine’s request for admit­tance to the United Nations as a full mem­ber state.

This Week (ABC) — White House senior adviser David Plouffe will talk about Pres­i­dent Obama’s Amer­i­can Jobs Act pro­posal. Also. British Prime Min­is­ter David Cameron and Hanan Ahrawi, a mem­ber of the exec­u­tive com­mit­tee of the Pales­tine Lib­er­a­tion Orga­ni­za­tion, will be dis­cussing the Pales­tin­ian bid for mem­ber state sta­tus at the UN.

Face the Nation (CBS) — Both national party chairs are here — Rep­re­sen­ta­tives Deb­bie Wasser­man Schultz (D-​​FL) and Reince Priebus (R-​​WI).

Sen­a­tor Lamar Alexan­der (R-​​TN): So nice, he shows up twice

State of the Union (CNN) — Plouffe, plus Sen­a­tors Mark Warner (D-​​VA) and Lamar Alexan­der (R-​​TN), will talk about the lat­est bud­get show­down, with next Friday’s dead­line to keep the lights on. Also, Indi­ana Gov­er­nor Mitch Daniels will dis­cuss the Repub­li­can Pres­i­den­tial can­di­date field, while pro­mot­ing his new book, Keep­ing the Repub­lic: Sav­ing Amer­ica by Trust­ing Amer­i­cans.

Fox News Sun­day — Plouffe, and Sen­ate Armed Ser­vices Com­mit­tee mem­ber Lind­sey Gra­ham (R-​​SC).

News­mak­ers (CSPAN) — Alexan­der, who’s leav­ing his Sen­ate lead­er­ship posi­tion as Repub­li­can Con­fer­ence chair­man, will be here as well.

Polit­i­cal Cap­i­tal (Bloomberg TV) — House Bud­get Com­mit­tee Chair­man Paul Ryan (R-​​WI) most likely will be talk­ing about his desire to drive the bud­get, or shut gov­ern­ment down.
