The House passed a cyber secu­rity bill that is sure to go nowhere, while the Sen­ate renewed the Vio­lence Against Women Act. Newt dropped out of the pres­i­den­tial race, dash­ing hopes for an amphib­ian in the White House. George Zim­mer­man was released on bail, and raised $200,000 for his legal defense. Pres­i­dent Obama slow jammed the news.
