We found out this week that Osama bin Laden wor­ried about his legacy. French pres­i­dent Nick­o­las Sarkozy is fight­ing for his polit­i­cal life. Mitt Rom­ney, with the Repub­li­can field to him­self, may have lit­tle mar­gin for error. Newt Gin­grich was, at best luke­warm about Romney’s can­di­dacy. We’ve seen the dark side of foot­ball. There are new clues about Roanoke (there’s an obscure ref­er­ence). One of our staff has a birth­day today.
