This past week has had a flurry of com­puter secu­rity sto­ries. Among them are yesterday’s announce­ment by Kasper­sky that the recently-​​noticed Flame mal­ware has defin­i­tive con­nec­tions to Stuxnet. Closely related is a set of sto­ries regard­ing leaks from the Obama admin­is­tra­tion regard­ing Amer­i­can cyber­at­tacks on other coun­tries. And, in the midst of this, we dis­cov­ered that LinkedIn had weak pass­word secu­rity.
