Mil­lions of peo­ple answered the Call of the Huck­abee, and ate at Chick-​​fil-​​A. This set a one-​​day sales record, so now “Chick-​​fil-​​A Appre­ci­a­tion Day” has a dou­ble mean­ing. A Pew poll says Amer­i­cans don’t like Pres­i­dent Barack Obama all that much, but they don’t like Gov­er­nor Mitt Rom­ney even more. NASA is hop­ing that Mars doesn’t kill their Curios­ity. Con­gress may have come up with a plan to dive more slowly off the fis­cal cliff. More than half of the coun­ties in the U.S. are dis­as­ters.
