I see plenty of news articles claiming that sanctions have suddendly started to “bite,” but no explanations that answer “Why now?”

Makes me wonder if if the bite was a sudden flood of counterfiet currency.

Yeah, it’s all old news. McCain decided not to attack Obama on the Wright thing four years ago. The public has moved on. Bringing it up is a) a sign of desperation, and b) an attempt to discredit (by trivializing) the video record of statements by Romney and Ryan.
