Some of the interesting races

1) MA6– RCP has lean Dem but RollCall has lean GOP and incumbent is down in polls

2) UT4-Rated as tossup, but 1 poll since RNC had Love up by 6.

3) PA12-Probably the best GOP bellweather. Dem who survived 2010 and in another tossup in the east. Him losing would be a bed Dem sign.
Alot rides on IL for GOP, Dems had hoped to pickup 4 seats there. Looks like only IL-8  is in serious trouble and 3 other are still tossups. Mostly Chicago suburbs. GOP seems to have done much better in N. Caroilina, where 3 of there 4 hopeful pickups look strong with 1 tossup. IA will also be interesting. Steve King running as a moderate?

David Kurtz lists 10 House races that he feels will be early bell­wethers.

The problem with using those as bellwethers is that they’re likely to be close enough that we won’t hear the results on them until we have much better indicators elsewhere.
